- 1 cup white rice
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 6 cups whole milk
- 2–4 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Berries (optional)
Instructions
- Boil rice and water, then simmer for 10 minutes until water is absorbed.
- Add sugar, vanilla, and cardamom; mix well.
- Heat to medium, gradually add milk, stirring to avoid burning, about 5 mins per cup.
- Spoon into bowls when all milk is in, sprinkle with cinnamon, and top with butter.
- Serve with fresh or frozen fruit for a tasty twist!
