There’s something undeniably delightful about Pigs in a Blanket. They’re a party staple for a reason! These little bites are wrapped in nostalgia for many, myself included. They’re cheesy, easy to make, and absolutely addictive.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 hot dogs
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Ketchup, mustard, and flaked sea salt for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and pinch the triangle seams together to form rectangles. Cut each rectangle into 3 long strips.
  3. Cut hot dogs and cheese into thirds.
  4. Brush dough strips with Dijon mustard (optional). Place cheese and hot dog piece on each strip, then roll up.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. While baking, melt butter with onion and garlic powder. Brush on cooked pigs in a blanket. Sprinkle with sea salt (optional).
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
