Chicken Wings Recipe

Salutations to everybody.

This is my little-known secret weapon for perfectly crispy chicken wings: the air fryer. In just twenty minutes, delicious wings—no mess, no freezing. My incredible honey buffalo sauce recipe will also be requested more.

Actually, air fryers are really rather amazing. Two frozen foods, fries and taquitos, may be upgraded to appetizers worthy of a restaurant. They prepare everything extremely fast as well, especially on busy evening. The wings will become your new favorite appetiser as well!

I usually have frozen wings in my freezer and this is the best method to prepare them. Every bit crispy without the greasy residue of deep-frying. The very easy honey buffalo sauce, which has the perfect balance of sweetness to spice, only requires a few pantry staples.

You’ll need the following:

  • You choose between chicken wings with or without bones!
  • To make those wings twice as crispy, use olive oil.
  • Spices (paprika, salt and pepper, garlic powder for a basic rub)
  • Homemade buffalo sauce or your preferred brand works well.
  • Honey: will add sweetness and thicken the sauce.
  • Worcestershire sauce gives a savoury accent.

These wings are very easy to construct! In twenty minutes or less, you will create an excellent appetiser with little cleaning. Just be ready to dig in with your favorite dipping sauce.

Complete procedure is as follows:

  1. Put the frozen wings in the Air Fryer basket and thaw them at 400°F for 10 minutes. After that take them out and pour off any liquid that has gathered.
  2. Toss and Season: Whisk together in a bowl the olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Return the wings to the air fryer basket after you’ve coated them well with the spice mixture.
  3. Cooking Time: Once crisped, continue to cook for ten to twelve minutes, or until the interior temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. While the wings cook, combine the buffalo sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce in a separate dish. Finish the wings, then immediately serve them with glaze.

Pro-Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Wings

  • Never Pack the Basket Tight: Give the wings enough space between them to cook evenly. Maybe you have to cook them in batches.
  • Stir it up: Would you want your honey buffalo sauce a little hotter? Add cayenne pepper one pinch at a time until the heat is just perfect.
  • All is controlled by temperature.Take a meat thermometer reading on the interior of your wings every time. They’re safe to eat at 165°F.
  • Classic Sides: Birds appreciate fresh veggies like celery and carrots for dipping. Match them with fries or onion rings, two more air-fried delicacies.
  • Dipping Pairs: A great dip completes any wing night! Dress your wings with homemade ranch or blue cheese dressing.

That’s it! Finger-licking good honey buffalo sauce covered simple air fryer chicken wings. Please try it and let me know what you think!

Air fryers are seriously amazing. They can take frozen foods like fries and taquitos and turn them into restaurant-worthy snacks. They cook everything super fast too, which is perfect for busy weeknights. These wings are no exception – they’re going to be your new favorite appetizer!

  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken wings (frozen is okay!)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Defrost Wings (10 minutes): Pop the frozen wings straight into your air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 10 minutes. This takes the chill off. Take them out, drain any liquid, and put them in a bowl.
  2. Season Wings: Toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook Wings (10-12 minutes): Put the seasoned wings back in the air fryer basket and cook for another 10-12 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F and look crispy.
  4. Make Sauce (while wings cook): In a small bowl, whisk together hot sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Glaze Wings: Once cooked, brush the hot honey buffalo sauce over the wings and enjoy!
