Instructions
Dragon Fruit Kombucha:
- Prepare the Tea Base: First, bring water to a boil, and then add the tea to that 2 tablespoons of green or black tea. Also add some granulated sugar, give it a good stir and wait until it cools down.
- Add SCOBY and Starter: Once it was cooled, pour some tea into a sterilized glass container. Add the SCOBY and the starter liquid are examples. Blend to a smooth puree also one red dragon fruit (In case you want it to be firm, be sure to strain it).
- Ferment: Use a clean piece of cloth to cover the container and then secure it in place by binding with a rubber band. Keep in a warm and dark place (temperature of 25-30°C) for 7-14 days. Try the solution every couple of days—you can test it by the taste; it turns acidic gradually.
- Bottle and Chill: After the fermentation process is over, you should pour the whole thing into the airtight bottles. The refrigerator can be set for 1-2 days in order to get a more refreshing flavor. This can be served cold!!!
Dragon Fruit and Nut Snack:
- Prepare the Dragon Fruit: Remove the peel from the dragon fruit and then chop it into small chunks or the preferred shape. Place in a separate container.
- Mix the Nuts: In a bowl, mix cashews, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and almonds. In the end, if you want, put some honey and salt. Of course, mix it for a delightful taste.
- Combine: Lightly blend the dragon fruit pieces into the nut mixture. Make sure it is not too mashed up though.
- Serve: The snack has to be stored in an airtight box and can be eaten as a snack at any time!
