Ingredients

- 2 oz bourbon
- 1 oz apple cider
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
- 1 oz Cranberry-Orange Simple Syrup (see below)
- Sparkling wine
- Orange peel, for garnish
Instructions
Cranberry-Orange Simple Syrup:
- In a saucepan, simmer orange peel, cranberries, cinnamon, sugar, and ½ cup water.
- Stir until sugar dissolves (about 5 mins).
- A Cool, then strain. Store in the fridge (lasts 2 weeks).
Cocktail:
- Mix bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, and Cranberry-Orange Simple Syrup in a shaker.
- Add ice, shake for 30 secs.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Top with sparkling wine, garnish with orange peel.
