Spinach Dip Recipe

Recipe

Hey everyone! I’m whipping up a super easy spinach dip recipe that’s perfect for any party. It only uses a handful of ingredients, but the flavor is incredible.

Here’s the deal:

This dip is all about that creamy goodness. We start with a mix of sour cream and mayo, then fold in some thawed and drained frozen spinach. For a bit of crunch, I like to add a can of chopped water chestnuts (but hey, no pressure if you’re not a fan!). The secret weapon? A packet of dry leek soup mix. It bumps up the flavor like nobody’s business.

Making it is a breeze. Just toss everything in a bowl and stir it up until it’s nice and smooth. Then, the key part: let it chill in the fridge for at least a few hours, or ideally overnight. That allows all the flavors to meld together.

Here’s the best part: you can totally make this dip ahead of time! In fact, it’s even better if you do because the flavors develop more overnight. Just store it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to two days.

If you’re looking to make a big batch, you can freeze the dip for up to three months. Just be aware that freezing and thawing will change the texture a bit.

So there you have it! An easy, delicious spinach dip that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayo, spinach, water chestnuts, and soup mix. Chill at least 6 hours.
