Easy and Delicious Beef Taco Salad for Warm Weather Dinners
Hi everyone, I would like to have a big salad for dinner. With plenty of veggies, protein, healthy fats, and the perfect crunch from the Doritos, this beef taco salad is perfect. The hardest part? Fighting the want to consume the whole bag of chips while preparing the salad!
The secret weapon of the recipe? A extremely easy, nearly wonderful, two-ingredient dressing. All you have to do is mix your favorite salsa with sour cream, and voilà ! You can rely on the sauce to be excellent. For a thinner consistency, you may use reduced-fat sour cream and add some fresh lime juice.
Here’s how to prepare a delicious taco salad:
- Brown the Beef: Using your favorite taco seasoning, brown the ground beef in a skillet for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it’s cooked through. Eliminate any excess fat.
- Get the salad ready: Once your favorite salad items are full, wash and cut them and place them in a large bowl.
- In another dish, mix the salsa and sour cream until smooth and creamy to make the dressing.
- Assembly of the Salad: Spoon the cooked meat over the salad ingredients.Add the Doritos last so that their great crunch is preserved.
- Go for it! Drizzle the creamy salsa dressing over your salad and have a fiesta in a bowl!
Bonus Tip: You are allowed to experiment and create your own spice combination using ordinary cupboard goods, even if this recipe uses pre-made taco seasoning for convenience.
